Here's exactly what will be deleted and what will be retained
Within 30 days
For legal/regulatory reasons
We retain certain data to comply with IRS tax regulations, payment processing requirements (Stripe), and legal obligations. Retained data is anonymized and cannot be linked back to you.
Consider these alternatives
You don't need to delete your account if you just don't need locksmith services right now. Your account stays inactive until you need us again.
You can delete your account directly in the LockAtlas mobile app
Open the LockAtlas app on your iPhone or Android device and log in to your account.
Tap the "Profile" tab in the bottom navigation bar to access your profile settings.

Tap "App Settings" under Preferences, then scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section.

Tap "Delete Account" in the Danger Zone. A confirmation modal will appear. Type your email address to confirm, then tap "Delete Account".

You'll receive a confirmation email within 24 hours confirming your account deletion request. If you don't receive this email, check your spam folder or contact support.
Timeline
Account deletion is processed within 30 days. During this time, your account is deactivated immediately and cannot be reactivated.

If you cannot access the LockAtlas app (lost phone, forgot password, etc.), you can request account deletion by email:

Cannot Be Reactivated
Once your account is deleted (after the 30-day processing period), it CANNOT be reactivated. If you want to use LockAtlas again in the future, you'll need to create a new account with a new email address.
30-Day Grace Period
You have 30 days from the deletion request to change your mind. During this time, contact support@lockatlas.com to cancel the deletion request. After 30 days, deletion is permanent.
We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations
You can request a copy of all data we have about you. Email privacy@lockatlas.com.
You can update or correct your personal information in the app settings at any time.
You have the right to delete your account and data (this page explains how).
You can request a machine-readable copy of your data to transfer to another service.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking 'unsubscribe' or emailing us.
You won't face discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
