From request to receipt
How LockAtlas Works
Know what you are booking, what the estimate includes and what happens next. Follow the steps below before you request a visit.
What to do at each step
A clear request helps the technician. A clear breakdown helps you decide.
Step 1: Tell us what you need
Choose a service, enter your address and describe the lock problem. Add a clear photo when available.
Explain whether you are locked out, the key will not turn or a lock needs replacing. These details help prepare the estimate.
- Your address and access details
- Lock details and a photo, if available
Step 2: Know who is coming
Once a technician accepts, check their details and follow booking updates in the app.
Submitting a request is not the same as technician acceptance. Arrival estimates can change with availability, location and traffic.
- Technician identity and current credentials
- Booking updates and in-app chat
Step 3: Review the price breakdown
Check the service fee, labor, parts and applicable tax before confirming your request.
The estimate starts with the information you provide. A technician may need to confirm the lock's condition on site.
- What work and parts are included
- The estimated total and current fees
Step 4: Review the work and receipt
Confirm the agreed work with your technician. After service, review the payment and keep your booking record.
Use the receipt, agreed scope and booking details if you need support with the service or a charge.
- Completed work and payment details
- Your receipt and booking record
If the work changes
A change in the work needs your decision.
If extra work is proposed, review the reason and revised price breakdown. Approve or decline the adjustment in the app before additional work begins.
Cancellation charges may still apply if you end the booking. Review pricing and fees.
Understand the reason
Ask what changed from the original request and why the additional work is needed.
Review the new breakdown
Check the proposed work, parts and revised total before deciding.
Make your decision
Approve or decline the adjustment in the app before additional work begins.
